Suspicious Activity Reporting
The iWATCH NYNG Terrorism Tips Hotline is a tool for New York National Guard (NYNG) members and New York State employees to report information about suspicious activities that may be related to suspect criminal and terrorist activity in a timely manner to the appropriate law enforcement and intelligence agencies.
Since 9/11, over 80% of thwarted terrorist plots have been the result of suspicious activity reporting by citizens, proving that our increased vigilance is our best and most cost effective means to defend our State, Nation, and National Guard force.
It is always better to report suspicious behaviors that to refrain from doing so.
It is your awareness, reported to the appropriate law enforcement agencies that helps predict and prevent attacks.
The iWATCH NYNG program targets behaviors and activities, not individuals.
