69th Infantry Marks Army Birthday In Times Square

NEW YORK -- New York Army National Guard Spc. Harrison Wang, a member of the 1st Battalion 69th Infantry Battalion, explains the mechanics of the 120 mm mortar system to a visitor to the Army 240th Birthday celebration on Friday, June 12 in Times Square. The 69th Infantry supported an event featuring Army Chief of Staff Gen. Raymond Odierno. The mortar system was the most popular display during Army Birthday celebration at Times Square.
