Adjutant General Joins in Arsenal Salute

WATERVLIET-- Major General Patrick Murphy, the Adjutant General of New York joined Watervliet Arsenal Commander Col. Mark Migaleddi in saluting the Capital District's commitment to supporting the arsenal at an Army Community Covenant event on Tuesday, June 11.
The Watervliet Arsenal, which was founded in 1813 to provide supplies for American forces fighting the British on the New York frontier in the War of 1812, is celebrating its 200th year in July.
The New York National Guard has more than 300 military and civilian employees stationed at the arsenal including the Army National Guard's military personnel office, central issue facility, medical command and recruiting command.
