CAMP SHELBY, MS -- Soldiers of the New York Army National Guard’s 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, which is at Camp Shelby preparing to deploy overseas, took time out Feb. 5 to watch Super Bowl XLVI and root for the New York Giants. Soldiers of the Brigade Special Troops Battalion, above, react as the Patriots fail to score in the final seconds of the game, clinching the Giants’ victory. The battalion’s units are based in Buffalo, Rochester, Lockport and Syracuse, N.Y.
