Outward Bound to Fort Bragg

Soldiers from the 27th Brigade Combat Team of the New York Army National Guard board a charter plane at Fort Drum's Wheeler-Sack Army Army Airfield in the early morning hours of Jan. 20, 2008 en route to Fort Bragg, N.C. The Soldiers will spend approximately two months training at Fort Bragg in preparation for their ten-month tour of duty with Joint Task Force Phoenix in Afghanistan. The Soldiers will be training the Afghan National Army and Police.
